It just dawned on me: What if SEGA really just wanted to measure the hype that would come out of their "hidden platform" statement? Everyone knew it was the iPod and related hardware; but, even then, many of us, if not most, regarded it as a possible introduction to Sega's next console. It's so obvious now. Sega knew it was the iPod from the start. And I highly doubt it was a matter of their acquisition of rights to publish for the iPod. It may have been a "pre-marketing" scheme of sorts to see what the public would really make out of a "hidden platform." Anyways, that's my Sega conspiracy theory of the day. What do you guys think? Lol. I'm just a hopeful Sega fan, after all. ;):D
