I like RE5. It may not have as much impact as RE4 did, but the gameplay feels very simular to the former title and the car chase scenes were pretty cool as well. I thought the length of the game was much better than that of RE4, because that game seemed to drag on too long.
I say that the only place that they screwed up big time was the story. I mean you can clearly see that the remnants of a Sherry based story-line is there with that random white girl being dragged off who looks like it would be Sherry 10 years after RE2/3. So Im thinking that they got rid of a good story for a crappy one. Other than that RE-4 only had the edge with me was atmosphere, too much lab in RE5. Oh and Sheva is hot but not needed.
the only thing that sucks about it is the $59.99 price tag. I will get this game at $29.99 no more.
I think the graphics look amazing, I played the demo on the 360 and I thought it was great. I never played RE4, but I have played RE:Code Veronica X, RE2 for N64, and Resident Evil Director's Cut for the original PSX.
Well, I think Adventure Island is quite difficult but also a long game so it is in the middle of the road. Probably not the best example.Quote:

All I can say is that when zombies can ride motorcycles like its mission impossible 2 or some shit I have a hard time taking the game seriously. I'm not completely against the notion that a zombie could perhaps shamble up to a motorcycle, maybe sit down on it, and accidentally start it. That is fine, but it should immediately be followed by the zombie losing control and crashing head first into a tree or something. The slime boss you have to fry is pretty lame as well. Also I got really tired of smashing boxes open with my knife. Somehow it did not feel as repetitive in RE4, but in 5 its like every three seconds there is a box to cut open. I was a little disappointed the arms dealer guy who helped you out in RE4 didn't make it back. He should become a staple character in every game. Just some mysterious guy with an accent. "What are You Buying?!" I always shoot him after the deal is done but mysteriously I can't take my money back! What gives? That guy rocks. He always reappears and I'm like didn't I already kill you? I think there must be a legion of clones out there.
