It was part 2 that rocked.
Castlevania Legends apparently was good too, even though it's not canon with the timeline, & the music is subpar.
It came out too late in the system's life, for me to give a damn.

It's more like bloodlines than the other 16bit incarnations.
DO. FUCKING. WANT.
I saw the stairs in the screen shots I looked at this morning. I wonder how much like Adventure it's really going to be?
The music in that video is awesome
The music is from Bloodlines.
I don't know why they didn't release it for Halloween in North America. I hope they fix this by specifically putting it up on the holiday.
Looks great, adding to the list
I just read 1up's hands-on preview and I'm now even more excited about this game.
Ditto to the upcoming ExciteBike "rebirth," which will be available in November. WiiWare's been on a roll lately! If only DSiWare would catch up...
DO WANT.
I love how those giant falling eyeballs make the 80s cartoon laser sound
The music during the opening intro is from the Map screen in SNES "Dracula X".
The game appears to feature several arranged tracks from obscure CV games (i.e "Haunted Castle", "Belmont's Revenge", "Bloodlines") and not the same 'ol retreads......except for "Vampire Killer" and "Aquarius" (from CV3) of course.
The graphics are great, rivaling if not surpasiing those of SCIV and PCE Dracula X (the best-looking of the traditional 2D Castlevanias).
The game appears to be a big departure from the original CV Adventure. No ropes, hidden passageways etc.......they made it more like a traditional CV, except with some touches of the GB games (the eyeballs, the moving spike walls).
That's just my first impression from seeing these videos.
It's out today.
Gracias :) I know what I'll be doing tonight!
This game.
Is.
Awesome.
