Well, then. I guess I'll wait a while. There's something about not owning a hard copy that still makes me avoid them. It's not that I don't think I'll own them, it's just that I know I'll easily delete them by mistake. Maybe they'll do that "Renaissance Collection" one day, who knows? Or maybe they'll slash the prices. I hope. There are just so many awesome 2D sidescrollers I can still buy as hard copies that I want.

Walmart did have them marked down for a while, they were ringing up cheaper than the regular advertised price.

Either way, 10 bucks for a game this good is worth it, and with another 1000 points, you can grab another game or two.

I used my GF's credit card to get it. It is great, but not orgasmic or anything. Not as good as Castlevania 4, Bloodlines or Dracula X, but still fun. Great music! I just wish they'd release this as a real game instead of a gimpy download. This game deserves to get the real treatment, not the bare-bones Wii Channel treatment. Make it beefier and release it as a real game! It worked for 2D Mario.

I liked it a lot but agree that it's no Super Castlevania 4 or Dracula X. It was VERY easy (I beat it in one sitting on my first playthrough), but the branching paths and great Castlevania gameplay mean I'll be coming back often.

I thought it gave a fairly decent challenge on NORMAL. I don't understand how one would be able to get to some of those places and branching paths, though. I also do not understand the difference between the CLASSIC and NORMAL play settings in the options screen. There is no difference at all!

But right now, No announcements were made.

Funny story actually. I went on my Wii to gawk at the file that at this point I cannot afford (money is that tight right now). And guess what I noticed, the last person who had the Wii (bought it at a pawn shop for $120) had left me a gift of 1800 Wii points. So I immediatly got the game.

Its pretty good. It feels most like Bloodlines actually with tinges of Dracula X in it.
