I like this one and had it, complete, in the nineties. It was very fun then. And that was only the beginings of a sports series. Super Volleyball 2 (Super Famicom), relesead in West as Hyper V-Ball, is better than this one. And the Power Spikes 2 for Neo Geo can be considered as the best one. If you have MAME or another emulator which is NeoGeo-compatible, I recommend.
There are another two volleyball games released in 16-bit era, either for the Super NES: Dig & Spike Volleyball and Volleyball Twin (Japan-only). The first one got good graphics but have somewhat complicated controls and it's a little slow. The second, I haven't played so much. The backwards view isn't good for a volleyball game.
