I love running into that one as well, I think my dream arcade would consist of the Trilogy AND Arcade cockpits. :)

I remember playing that when I was no more then 8 or 9. Outside of me playing a few times of me, It just sorta sat in the back of the arcade.
The only people who played it looked to be in their 20's or 30's and they were all hardcore starwars fans, T-shirts and all.
There is a full color version of the original Star Wars Arcade game for the Windows

That's the Atari vector one right? They've got it as a bonus in Rogue Squadron III as well, that and the Empire Strikes back game (which was originally a conversion kit for the Star Wars arcade board) and the Return of the Jedi game too. (a sprite/raster based one)
As I mentioned that's one that I have seen in RL, there's a stand-up cabinet in the Arcade at SC beach Boardwalk.
No, the Atari vector based game good also but its waaay older then the Sega Star Wars Trilogy one.
The Sega SW Trilogy has three different chapters from the movies. All of which are controlled by a single joystick with one button.
SW, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.
The graphics are still very good and most of the time you are controlling something. X-Wing Fighter, Land speeder, etc, etc.
I think the last level you have a sword fight with Vader which is pretty cool but the game is set at such a crushing difficulty your probably going to drop around $20 bucks before you get there.
They should release this on the Virtual Console Arcade on Wii!! That would kick ass!
