Okay here are my nominations:
Over the Top (I don't care what anybody thinks, not only does this movie offer an AWESOME 80's smashing soundtrack, this is IMHO Sly's best movie!)
Dumb and Dumber (This soundrack and movie just makes me relive the 90s...)
Tango and Cash (Another AWESOME cheesy 80s soundtrack and an awesome movie to boot!)
A Mighty Wind...the music in this movie is both hilarious and awesome!

Edge brings up a good point: do film scores count? If so, I'll nominate anything by John Williams (particularly Empire Strikes Back & Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade).
I'm also quite fond of Alan Silvestri's score for the Predator movies, and I'll mention Back to the Future for Rusty.
Danny Elfman's Batman was awesome, although I'll give the nod to Batman Returns.
As far as the "song compilation" soundtracks that Tanegashima is talking about, my favorite is Last Action Hero, followed by The Matrix.
Over the Top is a pretty Stellar movie. I'm gonna have to name my son Lincoln Hawk bc of this movie.. Enio Morricone's Good Bad n Ugly soundtrack I have in my car right now(not that my car runs, but it's in there). Robocop is fuckin sweet. I love the music to any of the Friday the 13th movies, when Jason is close by you hear "chi chi, Ha Ha". I have the vinyl soundtrack to Jaws (as well as a mister Spock "sings" Christmas songs record but that's another story). Where the Buffalo Roam. Jack Hill's Switch Blade Sisters, Halloween, Grand Theft Auto (the 70's movie), Prince of Darkness, It came From Outer Space, too many to name really.

Agree with Nightmare Before Christmas. (It still bothers me that the Corpse Bride songs - with the exception of Remains of the Day - were so very bad.) Also listen to Sleepy Hollow & Beetlejuice, when in the right moods.
I like music a lot more than I enjoy films, so could create quite a long list of good music from films I'm not fussed by - e.g. I have an odd liking for Craig Armstrong's Film Works, despite having no interest in any of the films at all. Also The Life Aquatic - can take or leave the film, but the ost's great either way. I also really like the Lost in Translation soundtrack, despite liking the film. :)
Also - The Director's Cut by Fantomas. It doesn't count at all, being comprised of Patton-esque cover versions of film themes, but I like it. So, um... nerr.
The Crow, hands down the best. :cool:
Rocky 4, the only montage based movie I know of, cheesy 80's soundtracks at it's best.

Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan for scores, great music in all of them.
Not much on songs being in soundtracks, just don't listen too much to music, but check out Lost Highway, the music compilation in it was great.
It's not a soundtrack as much as it is instantly, globally recognisable:
