I also saw said double feature, and cannot wait for the 3rd instalment.
:D Toy Story 3 here I come :D
was your theater full of parents that wouldn't shut the fuck up? I know it's a little soon to take the thread on a wild tangent, but for me the problem wasn't the kids (which were mostly good by the way), but the parents that just kept talking an talking to the kids while the kids were trying to watch the movie. I can't stand adults that keep talking to kids and saying stupid shit like "look, that's Buzz Lightyear, you have that toy at home!" He's five lady, he knows that, you are just annoying him by disrupting the movie and you're REALLY aggravating me.
Toy Story kicks major ass though, one of the best Pixar for sure and miles ahead of anything ever to come from Dreamworks.
Those damn :yuck:Shrek:yuck: Movies are horrible!
THIS, plus some annoying bitch in front of me kept quoting the films. "That's not flying, that's falling with style!" No shit, now shut the fuck up! Plus she kept looking over at her husband as if seeking validation for her quoting, and he wouldn't even glance her way. :) Then she was singing "You Got A Friend In Me," and I nearly put a bullet through my head...
oh god, that's the worst. Nothing worse than a woman that thinks she is funny when she certainly is not. Worst of all, no one ever says "shut the fuck up! you aren't funny!" to women like they would to a guy. And for those accusing me of misogyny, we need more women like this: http://www.adamcarolla.com/ACPBlog/2...kaitlin-olson/ In other words, women that get basic humor and sarcasm and don't engage in cringingly unfunny behavior.
This is why I usually wait till shit comes out on DVD.
"This summer"... I thought the summer of this year had already passed by.
Toy Story is awesome. They don't need to be in 3D (no movie really does). I look forward to part 3.
Maybe they Don't need to be in 3D, but they look freakin awesome in 3D
Meh. 3D is just another way to get additional money. Especially since they insist on charging for the glasses every time - it's included in the ticket price whether you already have a pair of the stupid things or not.
That said, I would go & see the Toy Storys if we actually had the double-feature here - we only got the first one, with the second apparently to follow. Yep... nearly £10 a ticket, for half as much as everyone in America gets? Thanks for that, but I think I'll not bother
Oh yeah, Up is finally out here, too. Sigh.
Yeah, I'll probably see Toy Story 3 (when it's finally released here in Summer 2017 :P), it's designed for 3D like Coraline so will probably work better. I assumed the 3D would be unnecessary in the first 2, but it would've been fun to have an evening of decent films at the cinema for once :/
It reminds me - not that they're "decent films" or anything (I'm not a Tarantino fan, and the very concept of a film designed to look low-budgety and crap put me off to start with :P) - but it was the same with Grindhouse. Showing them seperately (and extending bloody "Death Proof", a film where nothing happens til halfway through then basically repeats itself over again) was just stupid, and Planet Terror never even got released afaik. Irrelevant, but just another example of how we dun got ripped off! :fit:
