It is the next gen. That's the leaked info. It doesn't have the DS name, it's rumored to be the successor handheld. All we know is that 'Nvidia is working with Nintendo, using Tegra chipsets, which are targeted at mobile devices.'

Well, if dual screens were so big for the last one, clearly TRIPLE screens would be even better! :D
Nah, just make the 2nd screen touch sensitive as well, then both hands will be occupied by that with no room for button pushing.
Do you think Wi-Fi Direct will also have affect on the DS's Successor?

From the dead but.....
but ?
but whut?
But Nintendo didn't go with Tegra 3, and opted to go with ARM & a GPU from DMP
Nvidia's bringing Tegra to the handheld gaming market with the Shield now. Although it'll make no dent whatsoever in Nintendo's bottom line there.
That's not really hard to do though, given how old/low-powered the Wii architecture is. Hell, as it is the 3DS is more powerful than the Wii in most aspects save GPU. (more RAM -probably- more powerful CPU -not sure the clock of that ARM11) Actually, depending on the clock speed of the PICA200 GPU, the 3DS might have a GPU performance lead over the old Hollywood GPU. :p
Now, more powerful than the Wii U would be another matter, but still technically possible. (the Tegra 4 planned for Project Shield looks like it might lead over the Wii U) ;)
