Titles Missing from Master Lists

I didn't see Pebble Beach Golf Links in the master list. It definitely does exist because it's on my lap as I type this. There's a bar code sticker on the bottom-right portion of the label, so if there is any company logo or other information in that area, it is completely covered. The numbers 670-4299 appears in the red border area. HTH. :cool:

Winter Olympics

Says Sega Mega Drive on the label and has 1991 and 1993 copyrights. Has U.S. Gold and Sega trademarks. Cartridge is made in Japan.

This leads me to a question I've been thinking about lately. I hear people say that the Genesis has only around 760 games, including all variations, yet the master list is already at 926, and each title is only listed once, no matter how many regions had a release.

Puyo Puyo Tsuu is there, but not the original Puyo Puyo.

It's listed under Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. If a title had a U.S. release, that's the version listed. This way, titles are only listed once, so as to not cause confusion about how many games were released on each system.

Aha, I see. But then Elitserien 95 and 96 should be removed, since they are just Swedish versions of NHL 95 and 96.

They feature swedish teams and swedish players with diffrent stats from the NHL 95.96. Elitserien and NHL were released side by side in sweden.

There have been programing and artwork by swedish programers aswell. So its the same engine, but not the same game.

Burning Force was released in Europe. The Master list says it was released only in the USA and Japan.

Shadow Run... not sure about the release? Not for sale in japan and korea. The logo is japanese though and its a NTSC system (rules out China I think).


Im still confused about your comment on F-15 Strike Eagle II. Its excatly the same title as the US release and its clearly a PAL copy. Did I miss something?

I dont think so. In fact, the Sega-16 list is by far the most "complete" list ive seen, but im sure there are a few left for us to find.

On Wikipedia and on Sega-16's own article about the series, I read that Space Harrier (1) was released on the Mega Drive. But I don't see it on the master list. I can't find any other info on this.

That was my mistake (on our list at least). For some reason I was thinking the Jap. release of part two but listed it as part 1. Since the U.S. release of SH 2 is already on there, I've removed the MD reference.

To be fair, though, both games sport completely different graphics, music, and enemy AI. If you're not going to list Puyo Puyo due to an updated release in Mean Bean Machine, then you shouldn't be listing any sports title after the first release as well. :)

I think International Super Star Soccer Deluxe is called Fighting Eleven in Japan (at least it does on the SNES), with Jap teams instead of international. So therefor that version should be on the master list too, since Elitserien 95 and 96 are. Right?

Its called:

Jikkyou World Soccer 2 - Fighting Eleven, and it features the same teams as the european version. (for the snes, I couldnt find a japanese Mega Drive rom).

Edit: As far as Puyo Puyo goes, I do agree that they are almost like diffrent games. Pretty much the same case as with eliteserien. Only thing that differs is that Elitserien and its NHL counterpart were actually both released in sweden as seperate games.
