my only problem with that is the DS itself. I hate the DSi's mini square shape feel when playing, and it's cross-bar d-pad.

Had SEGA only made their own handhelds instead of licensing them to outside groups. I miss the 90s SEGA, where are those people at? Dead

I'd just like to point out that each game in the Super Mario Advance series was a huge rip-off, and still got multitudes of glowing reviews and sold like a billion copies. And people still buy copies of Final Fantasy by itself. I thought after the GBA release of Dawn of Souls they'd quit making 'em, but nooooooo, Square-Enix actually had the audacity to release a stand alone version of Final Fantasy for the PSP! I wish people would stop encouraging this shit.

I agree. Playing a game on a console with the original cartridge inserted in an actual console with an original controller, connected to a TV provides the most genuine experience you can find. It's how the developers intended it to be, and what's not to like about that?

I do however emulate as well, I enjoy using savestates and trying out games to see if I want to buy the actual cart. I feel like if you're playing it on a real console, you get more enjoyment. You also get to say, "I own this here game, IT'S MINE!!" That is to say that I wouldn't like to buy a game on the VC or anything as long as I have the actual system to play it on.

And it really depends on the emu. God knows both professionally made and fan made emus have had problems with the Sonic games over the years.
