Hey, it must be hard to type these huge posts when you're constantly fellating everything even remotely related to Apple.

Flip-Flopping.
Googles not 'pushing' android as a gaming platform, they're doing what they usually do; which is let it evolve on its own and observe feedback.
Do any posters here have a Motorola Droid? or other Android phone?
As a long time iPhone AND android user I would have liked to make a serious contribution to this thread, however as it's been hijacked without intervention by the "iPhone is shit" brigade I just cant be bothered to post anything relevant or interesting.

Well that's fine if you need something somewhat custom/unusual to do unorthodox computing, but I have never used a computer that handled day to day web browsing, e-mail, and other basic stuff better than a Mac. It seems every time I use a PC I just say "for fucks sake, can I just get a Mac over here?" It's just something that adding up hardware numbers will never answer. It doesn't matter what it's based on, it's how it works that makes it special. It's the same thing as trying to explain why a Ferrari is better than a Corvette, even if they have the same horsepower and skidpad numbers, there's alot more to it than that.
Every time you mention the iPhone outside of an Apple or iPhone website, you get these kind of responses. Every asshat on the internet finds some bullshit reason to hate the iPhone, and almost none of them are legitimate. I mean, so what if you got another phone and are stuck in a plan, etc., I'm not judging. I can understand being tired of the hype, and even I myself was skeptical, but that's no reason to go "NO NO NO IPHONE SUCKS IT KILLED MY DOG AND RAPED MY MOM AND ATT SUCKS AND I HATE BABIES AND AIR RAAAAWWWWRRRRR I'D USE IT AS AN ASHTRAY CUZ IT SUCKS AND WINDOWS IS AWESOME!"
also, where the hell were you during that shitstorm on segasaturn.co.uk when I was talking about putting Sonic in Pandemonium for Saturn and mentioned that I had Pandemonium on the iPhone and everyone shit a brick over it? Could've used some support, even the mods were just talking crazy shit on the iPhone and almost no one even responded to the original topic.
I don't know why I have to fight tooth and nail to defend the iPhone every time it's mentioned. Why can't us iPhone owners and likers just peaceably discuss amongst ourselves? If there was a thread about the Droid I wouldn't be running in it going "OMGZ DROID SUCKS".
17 days u didn't answer my question , u just kept feeding the trolls

I wouldn't know, I believe it has to be jailbroken to use that and my phone is the one device I refuse to hack. You get used to the on-screen d-pads after awhile, all you really need is maybe some slide on hand grips so you don't have to balance it on your fingertips while you play.
because I don't want a bricked phone when I'm broken down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere at 2 in the morning, that's why. Furthermore, I don't want to be disowned by Apple and AT&T should I have some sort of problem. If you want to jailbreak something, get an iPod Touch.
I've known people that have had them brick, but they may just be stupid. To me that's like installing performance mods (beyond I/H/E) on your only car, dumb idea. I just don't trust homebrew enough to jeopardize my phone. In fact, I had one person at work have something go wrong with his phone hardware-wise during the warranty period, but they wouldn't touch it because it had been jailbroken, even though he returned it to official firmware (I think it was because he didn't have the default wallpapers? I don't know, it was something stupid, but they knew). He either had to pay for repairs or buy a new iPhone straight up, I don't remember which. I'm not risking that much money so I can bootleg a bunch of 99˘ games or use a controller (which might be officially supported eventually). My phone is for emergencies above all else, and I won't do anything to jeopardize that #1 priority.
