As for your point behind all this nonsense, I'd interview Harvey if given the chance, but since he wasn't behind the Genesis ports of any of his games, it wouldn't be for this site. I wouldn't mind talking to him for a feature in Retro Gamer for for The Next Level, but it wouldn't be in context for this site, so I guess I wouldn't have the chance to bore you with it. ;)

Anyway, wasn't the main point of my thread in the first place, unlike what Knuckle Duster believes. The main point of my thread was to praise Will Harvey, who I did not know didn't have a hand in the Genesis version, since his name is on it in big easy-to-read letters, annnd to praise his game, and to say I would do a good interview with him should you need my work, need someone to do the interview for you.

Lol, you can't be this dumb. Will Harvey, the man you love so much and want to interview, created the PC game AND HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GENESIS PORT. Why did we interview Kevin McGrath? Because he worked on the port, unlike Will Harvey. Harvey's name is on the game out of respect to the PC original. He had nothing to do with the Genesis port, which is why we won't interview him about it.

Will Harvey presumably had a hand in the creation of the original game. Therefore what he has to say about it is/would be interesting to people who want to know what the makers of the game have to say about it. Talking to the porter PROBABLY isn't as interesting (although I'm not saying it's uninteresting).

This is especially true considering how similar the PC and Genesis versions were.

And how do you know, exactly, that Will Harvey has "nothing to do with the Genesis port"?

He could tell us a lot about how he created the original, then add a lot of "you'd have to ask _______ about that" whenever the Genesis port came up.

Harvey is mentioned on the next page, which is a bio on Sandcastle, the creators of the original game.

Of course, you could always turn to the back of the instruction manual and just LOOK AT THE CREDITS.

I have looked at the instructional manual. I remember looking at it years ago. Showed his picture. Says his name on the cartridge. Says his name on the box. Says his name on the title screen. Uses an apostrophe s.

Also your interview with the porter says that Will was working on the code of the Sega version, too.

" At the time Will was working hard at figuring out how to translate 65C02 assembly language to 68000 assembly language and had developed a very powerful translator. Essentially my job came down to making it fit into a cartridge and making the game work within the confines of the Genesis in general."

Gee, I wonder who had a bigger creative say in the making of ANY VERSION of The Immortal: Kevin McGrath or Will harvey, considering that Kevin's job came down to just making it fit into a cartridge and making the game work within the confines of the genesis in general (whatever that latter clause means).
