It's only a matter of time until the Jonas Brothers expansion set comes out.
More proof that they peaked in 1995. I used to like Green Day quite a bit. Actually, I still enjoy their earlier material. These days, I couldn't like them less.
Exportable song list = day 1 buy for me
I was wondering why all this crap from 21st Century Breakdown was being released instead of Dookie.
band got pretty awful, wish this music game fad would die already
I am just so happy that some great bands are finally getting the attention they deserve. First, The Beatles, Now, Green Day. I have to say up front that no band will ever top my love for the Beatles, but I have to admit that Green Day is really good. Especially their spin-off albums like Foxboro Hot Tubs and The Network : Money Money 2020.
Isn't Green Day that one band with the really emo lead singer who wears mascara like a girl? I can't think of even one of their songs for the life of me.
I liked them up until Insomniac too. I have to admit I've enjoyed their side project bands as well, especially The Network.
As the one guy here who doesn't understand all of the hate towards current Green Day (I think they sound the same as their early years. Perhaps that's because I never was a huge fan, but that's my opinion), I'll just respond to this:
Are you implying, sir, that the Beatles and Green Day don't already receive attention? Because that would be absurd! Next thing you'll be saying is that there's this interesting guy that we should all know about named Jesus ;)
As a general rule I turn my nose up toward bands that want to sing politics.
That's great.
I always wondered why we had no Green Day songs in earlier games, and I would very much buy this instead of that GH Van Halen crap (no songs from the Hagar era, heresy).
Kurt Cobain was never even that great IMO. Definitely note worthy, but that era was so fucking awesome and very few bands get the respect they deserve. At least Dinosaur Jr. is finally getting some props. I really wish music today was even close to what it was from ~89-95.
especially when they sing it without at least a metaphor. "don't want to be an American idiot" oh wow, did you come up with that all by yourself?
because Van Hagar sucked!
