1. PlayStation 2
What can I say, it was my console of choice in the previous generation. Even though the machine itself is kinda boring and has some inexcusable design flaws, its game library is simply unbeatable. No matter what genre you're a fan of, you'll find something of interest on the PS2.
2. Dreamcast
The little machine that could. Vastly underappreciated at the time, but maybe also a bit overrated by its fans nowadays. Still, it had some damn impressive and original games, and the console itself is just bleeding charm. Only thinking about starting up that little white box is enough to make me feel giddy.
3. Gamecube
The only Nintendo console that I ever came close to buying. It may have had the most potential out of all consoles of the previous generation, too bad the games were never really there. Too much generic Nintendo kiddie-crap, too little awesome third party titles. The GC should've been awesome, but it ended up being kinda disappointing.
4. Xbox
I always felt this was a sorry excuse of a games console. It was just a PC stuffed in a console box, ffs! No wonder it's so popular as a media center, it's more like an HTPC than a games console. It had some decent games, but nothing that made me want to get one or that I couldn't get on another console. Fortunately Microsoft managed to redeem itself (mostly) with the Xbox 360.
