I didn't either until I got into this game.
My American copy has the short Thriller clip when you dance.
I'm not sure how "rare" it is, but I decided to test my copy to see if Thriller was on it, and YES!
The funny thing is, I bought this game on eBay for 30$ US 2 month before MJ died, and my copy is dead mint (no pun intended) and complete! So if it's REV00 then I'm even more glad I bought it just in time!
Here's a crappy video of it:

Last year, I was also lucky enough to get my hands on a REV00 Revenge Of Shinobi!

Here's how to quickly see if you have REV00.
Turn On the console and hold UP+LEFT+A on controller 2, and press START when the Sega Logo appears and release everthing. Now, take the controller 1 and press START on the title screen, choose the 1 Player Option and press START again. It should lead you to the Level Select screen.
Choose stage 3-1. Move foward a little and hold the A button until Michael and all the zombies start to dance. If you have REV00, Thriller will play, otherwise, Another Part Of Me Will play.
See, I bought mine on eBay too for $30 and the condition is shitty. The manual is beat up, and the insert is beat up at the bottom from like water damage.
And it isn't even Revision 00...
He could probably sell it for $300 on eBay easily.
If not $500
Hey, looks like the prices have been a bit more sane lately (non BIN at least -ie ones that are actually selling)

These 2 boxed ones going for ~$30 each (plus ~5 S&H) caught my attention

Anyone notice on ebay that there are a LOT less actual auctions and only super overpriced BIN's now. Seems like there's been a shift for the worse on there. Still, seems like when actual auctions do pop up things are going for a lot cheaper.
Recently, I disassembled my "REV 00" copy of Moonwalker to find that it was manufactured in July of 1990. Could someone please post the manufacturing date of a "REV 01" copy?
I had a bit but I lost it.
Anyway, the search is over for me as I just got a copy of the game today that has Thriller on it. That version has to be more rare than REV 01 as I went through quite a few before finding a REV 00 copy.
Well this one I got is Rev01.
So up for sale it goes.
