I just take it with my vitamins in the morning. It seems to work as generally fighting depression and lifting your mood. It's not expensive either.
I never really got affected by seasonal affective disorder much until I started college... but this year it hasn't been too bad, but still troublesome. Grr.
I'll sort of second scooter. I'll sometimes take a ride on one of the many highways here... play some good music in the car. Driving on I-395 going past the pentagon, along with the sights and of Arlington County, VA at 70mph is quite impressive.

If you're seriously depressed and doubt your life's worth living, just try to think of what you're capable of and why your life's worth living (especially if you can make Robotnik with a shotgunpenisPINGAS in Doom or GoldenEye, THAT would make my decade). You should talk with a psychiatrist or psychologist before you kill yourself though.
