You buy both a cartridge slot expander and a 32X? You can get Jap carts into the 32X (not Sunsoft's though).

I'm using a Mega-CD program to dump cartridges. To stop cartridges from running when you turn on the Mega Drive, you need to disconnect a connector pin on the cartridge - with the label facing you, it's the one furthest to the right. Right now I'd have to stick a bit of Sellotape over it or something to break the connection between the pin and the Mega Drive cartridge slot. The problem with this method is that it's fiddly, and could probably end up with bits of Sellotape stuck in the slot. If I get a cartridge slot expander and cut the right-hand pin permanently, all I need to do would be to plug the cartridge I want into the expander, which won't start as the pin is cut permanently.

A 32X uses the same power lead as a model 2 Mega Drive, right?

I see. Is it the Mega Cart you are using?

Yes, the 32X and Mega Drive II has the same power lead. You need one for the 32X and one for the Mega Drive though.

I reccomend... both Game Gear Shinobis, and Batman Returns, because Batman Returns shares the same engine, plays almost the same and has a Yuzo soundtrack.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Master of Darkness for the Sega Master System. Complete for only $14 AU.

Can't send out payment yet, because processing through checkout will not calculate combined posting correctly, according to the seller.

I got my Transcoder in the mail. It is different that the one Joe has -- I'll post pics. It has a different voltage, and the AC adaptor I bought for $4.99 at Big Lots actually works. Also bought Crazy Taxi while I was out doing errands today, for the DC, $4.99 complete, original release.

    Break 'Em All, DS (new)

Pretty well what one would expect of an economy-priced Arkanoid clone. Certainly a solid game.
