I still find it interesting to hear them discuss nostalgic memories.
Bland describes that episode pretty well. The quote that NostalgiaMachine brought up was about the only interesting part of the review, the rest was just same old stuff we've seen from the Nerd before.
The only part I didn't understand was why he needed to bring up Mimal. It wasn't funny, it wasn't interesting, why bring it up?
Yeah people like to give people shit. A lot of people don't do anything with their lives and then they see some one else doing something and then they get jealous
People don't like Nerd episode = They must be jealous

I must be jealous, or petty or I must "love" AVGN, because I despise AVGN and his movie counterpart. Watching them on YouTube is like purposefully listening intently to someone scratch a chalkboard with their nails. It's downright nauseating.
I can understand people bashing mike...but I always find james entertaining.
Although everyone here seems to disagree I like your comment. I'm sure not everyone who bashes him is jelous but I bet there's a good amount of people who are (but won't admit it).
Motivation deserves respect!
The upside being that I DO have motivation to actually make games, not film myself talking about them. Hence, a net win for myself.
EDIT: Also, I love the AVGN. Only webshow I'll watch.
A retarded Sonic.
I think everyone needs to see this video before judging.
***Visualshock! Speedshock! Soundshock! Now is time to the 68000 heart on fire!***
That's always the dumbest argument I see people make. In general. I see it all the time. "I like this, and if you can't do better, shut up!".
If that's how you really feel, then maybe you outta stop watching the AVGN. I highly doubt he could make better games than all the ones he's criticizing. I'd like to see him make something better than Ninja Gaiden.:/
As for me, I have plenty of criticisms with the AVGN, such as his over-reliance on "characters" and unfunny, drawn out "comedy" sketches. These weren't problems with him initially, and I was a fan from the beginning. That's why I liked the 2600 Sports episode, because I felt it was a much needed return to the old style, and was much funnier for that.
