yeah, I've beaten a few. The games you have aren't even close to the best though, not by a long shot. I find that the more high-profile the company is, the more phoned in and buggy the games are. Not to say all indie games are good, but the best ones tend to come from indie developers (and Gameloft).

I've completed one iPhone game: Ragdoll Blaster.

I may one day even complete Alive 4 Ever, as that game is definitely more fun than I expected.

iPhone games are merely to be played for a few minutes at a time, when you reach true boredom. In the car or some shit like that.

funny, I find myself playing them when I have 10 systems hooked up right in front of me, not to mention a computer with thousands of ROMs and a modded PSP in arms reach.

I think there should be a prerequisite that you own an iPhone before you start talking about the quality of the games.

I think the games on the app store are a mixed bunch, Theres a lot of rubbish but then theres also a lot of good. I find most of the games that use the accelerometer seem to agravate me 'super monkey ball' and the games with buttons on the screen are good, If done corectly.

The thing to remember with the iPhone is that, It is a phone. So with that in mind it probably shouldnt get compared to consoles and hand consoles. If it was up against other phones where would you put it on the list then?

(iPhone vs BB is a very hot subject in the UK at the moment it reminds me of the 16bit war)

On the other hand, If i wanted to play streets of rage right this second. Id use the iPhone. Its the same game as it is on the Mega Drive and i aint got to get up of this seat to plug it all in. I notice a lot of people moaning about certain console ports 'SEGA' ones being way to slow to play, But to be honest i havent had a problem with mine.

Im running a 3GS 32GB, what about anyone else, Are you guys getting slowdown or is it just iPhone 1st gen with the problems?

'sorry about the spelling im in a mad rush'

there's certainly plenty of shit on the app store, of course there will be, it's just too damn easy to get a development kit. Still, there's alot of gold to be found and with the prices so low, you can't really complain.

Certainly. Just like how you shouldn't be allowed to criticize Boeing's safety record unless you own your own international avionics corporation. It's only fair, after all

Yeah. Personally, I feel that only the priest class should be allowed to read and write. All it'll bring the peasants is misery and fart applications.

Just like how one should own the Wii before talking about about how terrible it is?
