Did your mum also told you not to look lighting through windows if I understood you correctly? I really do not know WHY did they do it.

My mum told me that I once used to hiy my head against something and then I asked "where did all the stars go?"

I remember when I had those Chupa Surprise toys, I thought I can become a scientist because I made different creatures from different toys and made some laboratory constructor thing.

When I heard in news that the Sun is going to explode, I was so afraid andprayed that it will not happen. Such stuff scares me the shit out. Same thing was with a meteor thing, what had to land on 4th/6th of july in 2005? I could not sleep ALL night because I was scared I'm dieing. When morning arrived and I was not dead, I was happy.
I also went through a couple of "death-realizing" cycles. I would keep asking my parents or anyone with authority how long do I have to live. I knew I couldn't die at the moment, but I knew it was going to happen one day and it also scared the shit out of me.

    Yup. My mother and grandmother, both would tell me not to stand by the window when lightning stroke. They said it was because the windows were made of metal. To this day, I still listen. ;

    Hey, I'm STILL a scientist.

Darn it! you keep doing it. This is something that happened when I was less than four years old. My sister grabbed me by the legs and pulled me off the couch. I landed head first. My mother said I kept saying "mira todas esas estrellitas" (look at all those stars).

...that last one was too recent. I think I was an adult by then (I hope :P).

It's just mothers... mine would go nuts over anything weather related.

"Don't stand next to the windows - the wind is blowing."
"Don't stand next to the windows - there's lightning outside."
"Don't stand next to the windows - there's a tornado."

The last one really makes them go crazy. While my mom is freaking out, my dad was at the door just watching... "Uh... yeah, listen to your mom, kids."

I thought people died of "Hard" attacks instead of Heart attacks. Everyone talked about heart attacks, and I always imagined it as someone getting really angry and then dropping dead.

I was haunted by swastika every night time while trying to sleep in bed safe and sound, I spent most of time sleeping under blanket instead with my stuffed animal and damn I can still remember heat under blanket making me sweat (it was very uncomfortable) and sometimes peek out gasping for some short fresh cold air.

Yeah, it was stupid now when I think about it. Fact that swastika means good luck is like WTF, I have been haunted by a good luck charm for years? At last I'm not afraid of it anymore, it was years ago.
I believe it was an episode of the X-Files that you remember. In that episode a boy is possessed by his twin who died while in the womb. In the exorcism scene they drew a swastika on his chest using his own blood which caused him to go crazy.

I saw that episode few weeks ago, but it's not one that I saw as a kid and my parents really don't watch x-files and mom thinks that shows was too weird to be leave turn on. Guy in bed was a grown man sleeping and some kind of swastika floating in air enter him that cause him to wake up.

I start watching x-files on vhs tapes during my high school years (about few years ago), it was about two full shoe box of them. Than I found x-files season 2 dvd boxset from goodwill. I never watch it as a kid, however x-files comics that I picked up from yard sale really scared me so hard I put it in trash can, I can still remember some disturbing sences, it got to do something with deadly virus or some wierd burning power.

P.S. Mr.Smith, your guts is STILL mine! As a orange werewolf, I should rip out your guts the most painful way that you'll ever imagine! I guarantee this will happen one day! I should eat it like a king.

    Some more I remembered:

I sometimes believed if I draw images, they come alive lol.

I used to think that ythe Home Alone thing would work against bad people.

I also remember I was extremly terrified of strangers so everytime I saw someone came and ringed a bell, I ran away into other room and hide myself so nobody would know anyone is at home.

I mostly thought all people who came at the door were robbers and wanted to steal us. (Expectmy parents)

I used to believe everything on TV when I was young and I thought it all is true, like you never die etc (cartoons)

I thought taking the TV glass screen away I'm able to go inside the TV into toonworld.

I had a similar word mistake. I always got "passed out" and "passed away" mixed up. I was never sure if someone was dead, or if they just fainted.

I remember coming home from school one day and I told my mom that my teacher was going to be gone for a few days because her mom fell down. My mom was like, "what do you mean, 'fell down'?" So I said she passed away. My mom then informed me that passed away means she died.

With regards to this, I used to think all black people were Australian Aborigines. The ABC and education system seem to like pressing the matter that they existed here way before Europeans invaded Australia, they'd also completely brush over that Africa had black natives too.

I thought Genesis games were made by drawing pictures of each level and stuffing them into a plastic cartridge, so I drew pictures of a bunch of games I wanted to play but couldn't, in hopes that I was right.

My parents told me that if I played near the stone fireplace, my head would split open, so whenever my head touched the fireplace, like I leaned against it, I checked my head to make sure it wasn't open.

Same went for the oven when it was cooking, I would walk all the way around the room to avoid it so I wouldn't get burned.

I thought going to Church on Sundays wasn't a waste of time, or that I'd go to hell if I as much as had a negative thought without confessing it to a priest. Lol, fuck catechism.

When I was little I saw President Reagan on the TV tell me to "Say no to drugs," but I thought he said "Say no to jugs." So I went to the kitchen, took a look at an empty milk jug, and couldn't figure out what was so bad about them.
