that weetbix thing reminds me, I used to think that if I stared at bright lights I could save up the brightness for when it was dark or something.

I doubt anyone else had this things.... but to me they were extremly creepy back then when I was young and I thought my eyes are broken when I saw these (because I'm blind by one eye) and thought my vision is broken and I'm starting to lose sight or seeing things other people wont because they see with both. Here's two of the things I saw back then:
When I was very small I never understood why the door knob/link "jumps".
It was usually when we did not had curitains on and there was light showing at the door and knob was dark, or it was dark so the door link/knob was in the dark. The more you looked at it, the more it started to "jump" up and down, twist, go like U shape WITHOUT nobody touching it. (parents were sleeping) It literally scared me to death and I was afraid there's something wrong with this house ormy eyes. I cried so much and kept wondering why does it happen to me? I went almost to sleep next to the dog so I could not see the link jumping. But as it got cold, I went back to bed and turned around and under blanket. I was 4-5years old back then. I seriously did not know what caused it so it seemed so creepy to me....
Second thing what scared me was when there were TV lights (those small red, green etc dots) and when you did not look at it straight on, but with an eye "edge", the dot started to do different shapes and jumped around. I was scared if I do it too long, I mess up my eyes and I get blind or something like that. The shapes were like triangles, rings, sparkling stuff, lots of different stars, flashing things etc.
I remember being on airplanes at night and thinking I was in space.
Also for a long time I though a Light Saber was a Life Saver.
My asshole uncle told me that the window on the car was voice activated but we had to ask really politely. Needless to say it went down once or twice in an hour span of my brother and I begging.
When I was around 6 years old or so, I thought Darth Vader was "Dark Vader".
Back in the old days of Mega Drive my friend used to call the Strees of Rage Round 2 boss: Freddy Krueger. Not knowing who Freddy Krueger was, I incorrectly attached the name to the wrestler in Round 3. I am reminded this only by the Freddy Krueger in Mortal Kombat thread. I have made no further errors since.
This just reminded me of the time (Not really on topic) when I was 10 years old and I told my 5 year old cousin that there was a "monster on her back" she was actually screaming and crying for literally like an hour, swatting at her back, I felt guilty, and kept telling her I was only joking and that there was nothing there but she wouldn't listen![]()

When I was about 5 years old, I remember watching an episode of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", and in one part I believe Leonardo said, "We don't know the meaning of the word defeat". I actually thought he meant that he didn't know the meaning, of course, he meant they had never been defeated.![]()
My brother used to think people who died in movies actually died. He used to wonder where all the willing volunteers came from. For me it was Father Christmas - until I was ELEVEN YEARS OLD... Damn my parents.
