Back to Saturn...Saturn sucks, nothing is worth the price, get a Dreamcast.

They sold pandora's that 'service mode' the v3 board models, and couldn't deliver. They didn't say: "Oh shit, sorry guys, we steal all our software from the scene and since it hit a brick wall, we can't do shit on our own." but rather they silently changed the description of their POS battery instead and tried to lay low.

The title of the thread is "Finally got a Saturn", I think it's a little late for that.

I've got a Dreamcast. I've also got a Master System, Genesis, and Sega CD. All I was missing was a 32x, Saturn, whatever different models of Genesis and Master System there are, and whatever obscure Pong consoles Sega made a long time ago if they did; so the Saturn was the most available Sega system I could get at the time. So far, it's a wonderful system for me. I can't find a negative part about it yet (I've only had it for 3 or so days now, so I can't honestly say it's perfect yet). Even the changing of the battery for the memory drive thing wasn't a bother. So, it's good so far.

Anyway, where can I get the 4-in-1 cartridge. Should eBay have plenty? And, could one burn games to CD-R and play them on the Saturn like one would do with the Dreamcast? If so, what homebrew games are there for the Saturn that are good?

    My humble recommendations:

    Daytona USA
    Sega Rally
    Sonic Jam
    Fighters Megamix

Loaded (even though it's also on the PS1, but I heard that the Saturn port was good)
    Manx TT Superbike
    Sonic R
    The Yakyuken Special
    (import)

eBay should have plenty, they're very common. As for CD-R's, it requires a separate mod chip. There's no Saturn homebrew scene that I know of.

You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.

I think you can get a 4 in 1 at amazon too. You will need a chip to read cd-r's. And you will need a model 2 Saturn (round buttons) to make the chip happen.

    Ahem! Shining: The Holy Ark?

Magic Knight Rayearth is a better RPG than Shining Wisdom as well.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Hooray! My Saturn has round buttons signifying a model 2, hopefully. Where could I get the chip and what use would CD-R's be to me for use on the Saturn?

just a word of warning: modchips appear to have a high defective rate, that or people are effing stupid and don't know what they're doing. I had hell getting mine to work, only to discover the stupid guide author apparently wasn't aware that some Saturns MUST have the power coming from the CD connector rather than the power supply. I was ready to kick someone in the face after that fiasco, especially since I shortly discovered there are about 5 games worth playing on the Saturn.

Ooh, 2 trolling tickets. One more and its to Richard Simmon's basement for you. Still a completely wrong statement.

    Darius Gaiden
    Panzer Dragoon Saga
    Shinobi Legends
    Princess Crown
    NiGhts

    There's 5, but I'm going to 1UP that.

    Guardian Heroes
Shining Force 3 (the others are imports but still good)
    Tryrush Deppy
    D
    StreetFighter Zero 3(Best Version)
    Magic Knight Rayearth
    Fighting Vipers
    Virtua Fighter 2

    Enough said.
