On January 20, Atari announced pre-orders for the Atari Flashback2+, to be released on February 22, 2010. General Mills simultaneously announced a giveaway sweepstakes for the console, along with other Atari related merchandise, in conjunction with its Honey Nut Cheerios cereal.
Included games
The bulk of the included games in the Atari Flashback2+ are the same. However, Pitfall, River Raid, Wizard, Caverns of Mars, and Atari Climber have been removed. In return a sports section has been added in replacement, that includes Realsports Boxing, Realsports Soccer, Super Baseball, Super Football, and Double Dunk."
I bought the bloody thing specifically for River Raid, Pitfall, Missle Command and Combat... I can't believe they'd take those two absolute Classics out of the roster... what a dumbass move.

Oh yeah, the non-winning prize wheel! As I understand it, the wheel will let you know when to try to win, not that you actually will win anything if you spin. A total waste of some canned web programming and peoples' time. Originally Posted by johj1987

I tried for several days, had the arrow spin away from a win, and when I emailed them to complain I got a letter saying what I said up there. So screw them, not interested.
I got my FB2 and FB2+ with the t-shirt so I am fine with General Mills playing corporate stupid.-CarlI'm not gonna go get humped by a giant red ape in space.
