    Default BlazBlue?

So, BlazBlue is finally getting its release in England for the 360 this week and as i am in need of more fighters for my TE stick could any of you guys give me some advice on the game?

How does it play: Is it close to street fighter? or is it more like a King of fighters? Guilty?Or how would you catagrise it?

How does it play on xbox live? The latest KOF was terrible (LAG)

Are most of the charactors charge charactors? This worries me as im not a big fan of the charge mechanics in fighters.

It looks hectic? So is it well over the top?

Could this game ruin 'my' Street Fighter game?

These questions may all sound pretty obvious if you live in japan or the US but over here i doubt hardly any of us have even played it

I like it. It's a completely different beast from other fighters I've played but closest to Guilty Gear.

I didn't like it much at first but after sitting down and really spending some time with it, it grew on me.

I haven't played online but I hear it's close to perfect. It's supposed to feel just like local. For what it's worth, every time I hear about how horrible KOFXII's online was, they say "why couldn't they just license what they used for BlazBlue?!??"

As for hectic, it didn't seem that way to me but I'm hardly even a novice at it. I guess it could be, but it felt more methodical than that to me. It looks like a lot going on but it didn't feel like a lot going on.

Ruin your Street Fighter game? If you mean, "would playing this game a lot make me suck at SF," well then maybe. It plays very differently. I'm sure there would be some adjustment time when switching between them.

I have the arcade/hacked, "Blaz Blue: Continuum Shift" for the PC, The game is similar to Guilty Gear in terms of gameplay mechanics, what I do not like about the game is the character roster, they are too "bizarre" for my tastes...

I fucking love Blazblue. It's one of the three games I play competitively. If you like fighting games, I absolutely recommend it. All the characters are completely different and original, so you should be able to find someone you're good with. It's very original and innovative. Plus it's got some of the best 2D game graphics ever. Also there are no charge characters. I gotta say though, it sucks that Europe is getting it so late, almost a year after Japan and NA. What's up with that?

It sucks major balls that its taken so long for a release over here! Maybe they could not find anyone to publish it? Anyway going by what all you guys have said i have come to the undestanding that:
Although it is a very good 1on1 it could mess with my SF Game, And the charactors are well over the top.

Not sure if im into crazy charactors, JoJos bizzare adventure for the dreamcast was crazy to me, So is this going to be even worse?

    Maybe il rent it first

Just to let you know, nearly every major review site I've seen has given it higher than a 9/10 score, which, to give you an idea about how good this game is, is almost better than SF4.

There is a new BlazBlue coming out so no one is playing CS any more. I would wait and import the new one.

uh...I thought it was Continuum Shift (CS) that's coming out and the current one is Calamity Trigger (CT). I think this game is worth it but depending on the release date for Europe you may want to get CT for now, but if CS is coming out soon just hold off until that comes out. There are some serious balance issues in CT, but in the arcade version of CS I've played it seems a lot of those issues still exist go figure. You do get 2 new characters in CS though.
