Default problem with model 2 genesis

I've had my model 2 since August and it's starting to have some problems. For one thing, the picture tends to flicker and get jumpy if I move the system when it's on. There's also a very pronounced buzzing noise in the background of some games, mostly when the screen is showing bright colors, but my model 2 is a VA 3/4, so it shouldn't have any sound problems. My one guess is that it might be the RF cord because when I got it, the pins were all bent out of alignment and I had to straighten them with pliers. Also, when I touch the part of the cord that plugs into the system, the buzzing gets quieter or stops completely. Should I just get some composite cables?

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

Take the unit apart and reset the solder points where the RF connector meets the main board. That should do it.
    It is finished!

It definitely sounds like a bad connection somewhere. From the symptoms described, it could be in the mini-DIN plug of the RF modulator (in which case the best plan would be to replace it with AV cables) or in the mini-DIN jack's connection to the Genesis mobo (which would most likely be a cracked solder joint; reflowing all of the connections between the jack and the mobo would fix that).

Sunglasses Sega Megadrive 2 dosent come up with black screen on my modern tv

Well, I found my sega megadrive 2 and ain't played it for 9 years, but I connect the official rf unit for the sega megadrive 2 into the tv, I put the 9 pin cable in the sega megadrive, when I switch on my sega megadrive 2 the screen flashes, this is how I know I have connected it properly, when I am tuning in on different channels, I auto fine tune and my tv never comes to a blank screen, it just dont want to pick it up. Is there some way I can make this come to the blank screen? I need help....
