No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

I'm not positive on a lot of these (a bit off the top of my head), but from games I own or have played extensively:

    VCS: Combat (maybe Pitfall II)
NES: not really sure, maybe Air Fortress (among many games I love but suck at)
7800: don't own, but probably Ballblazer. (maybe Joust)
Genesis: Virtua Racing (or maybe Sonic 3+Knuckles -love it, but not a huge platform fan)
Sega CD: Silpheed (SoulStar is awesome but I suck at it)
    32x: Shadow Squadron
SNES: Star Fox (maybe Yoshi's Island)
    N64: Super Smash Bros.
Dreamcast: probably SA1 or SA2 (played mostly on GC though), haven't delved into a lot of the DC's library though. (and some great ones are PC ports, so I'd associate them more with that platform -like MDK 2)
PS2: Silent Hill 2 (albeit I played it mostly on PC and it was on Xbox too)
Game Cube: hmm... hard to say, maybe Rogue Squadron 3, SSBM, or Mario Sunshine.
Xbox: Burnout 3, or maybe Halo or Mechassault 2. (lots of good multiplayer in all)

    Not sure on handhelds.

Also not so sure about current gen, all we've got at home is the wii, though I know of a lot of good titles on other platforms. Maybe SSBB on the Wii or some of the WiiWare stuff -SBCG4AP is great-) I don't care much for Mario Galaxy though. (I still haven't given it another chance though)

Just scrolled up and saw your list. As similar as our lists look (format & system-wise), I was surprised at how different the content was.
