Really, the power went out when I went to dump it on the cart... Motherfuckin' "Ka" I say.

I played it, I liked how it played, but couldn't get into it because it had stupid CvsSNK2: "EO mode" crap in it, 1 button auto-fire for specials that have cool downs or something. Not a fan of easy stuff like that. I also tried Zelda then, that pissed me off just like the first one. I've discovered that I hate DS Zelda games.
I can't take Zelda seriously anymore. I don't like the Wind Waker sequels at all. Once was enough. The NPC's even piss me off. The quirks of the design is humorless to me now. They need to get serious and realistic. Ditching the campy flavor established by OoT.

The only game I played that impressed me was Might and Magic Clash of heroes, that game is awesome.

Other than those games, my flashcart collects more dust than my dead dreamcast.

Ah. I figured you'd be trying out games left and right. I was half-wondering if there were any holes in my collection.

I just ordered two more games off of Ebay (Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box & Kirby in Canvas Curse) so any said holes are rapidly filling up. I actually think I'm running out of DS games worth buying (according to my tastes, at least).

Have you played Boing! Docomodake? It's a pretty cute little puzzle game that I'm glad I purchased and look forward to spending more time with.

    Professor Layton is awesome.

I haven't played anything or bought anything new in a while. I stepped back and decided to finish what I already own before doing much else. It's just 'awful' that I happen to own a bunch of JRPGs that take weeks to go through.
Dragon Quest VI is going to come out and make me choke someone.

Sega-16 is our never-never land. We all revert to ten year-olds when we log on. And I always wanted a pokemon game that was made like "Deer Hunter", where you could hunt the little buggers down and shoot 'em.

Kirby Canvas Curse is still one of my favorite DS games. Hopefully it hasn't been over-hyped for you

Is your RF-Generation list up-to-date? If so, I can see if there's any recommendations I can give

Yeppers. I actually updated it last night, since I gave a handful of my games to Iron Lizard recently.

This is pretty much what I said when I played Pokémon Snap. "Why can't I shoot them? Then it would be fun!"

I think somebody was actually working on a mod like this a while back, but I have no idea what happened. It would be awesome with a light gun.

    MrMatthews,

Do you enjoy DS adventure games?

    I would recommend,

    - Theresia (made by Workjam developers of Jake Hunter)
    - Flower, Sun, Rain (Grasshopper manufacture developers of Killer7, No More Heroes)

I only kinda/sorta like adventure games. I loved Hotel Dusk, but I bought Jake Hunter (on your recommendation, I believe), and I'm having a hard time getting into it. :/ However, I've heard recently that there is a Hotel Dusk sequel in the works and I'll be all over that fo' sho!

I also really liked Rocket Slime, but I'm not sure that qualifies as an "adventure" game.

I've been looking at my collection and at all the games available for the DS, and I think I've actually already gotten pretty much every game available that I'll actually like.

I wish they'd just stuck with the GBA. Such a good platform.

Yeah, looking at your collection on RFGeneration it looks well rounded.

I noticed you didn't have Bangai-o. It's kind of a maniac puzzle shoot em' up. Have you tried it on DC?

Also, I take it you're not interested in any of the five Ace Attorney games?
