It's NBA2K7 for the PS2.

You'll notice that only half the players animate, while the other half (standing in the exact same posture) rotate like they're on a pedestal. The players don't turn their heads either.

Once you get past the initial awe of seeing the game, the little things start to really stand out.

Nah, I can play Hockey on NES and have a blast so playing this game and seeing it in the shape it's in wouldn't "stand out" or bother me in the least.

I can play Doom 1&2 and enjoy them as much as playing Doom 3.

Graphics aren't the end all be all for me... gameplay is... the look and sound is simply icing on the cake.

op, sony has no bias towards the ps2 they created both systems and were simply showing thier improvements with their new system. The ps2 has been sonys cashcow for a decade.

I hear what you're saying, but when they're trying to push people over to the latest hardware....

They were just showing an improvement in AI and player models. The PS2 game's character models don't react as naturally, because of the limited AI programming.
