Umm, the other thread already posted all the level music and most of it seems average to mediocre, some is decent and a few might be considered good. The remix someone posted done with real genesis hardware actually sounds a lot livelier. (not just because it sounds classic, but it's got more feel and depth to it)
But one thing: multiplayer/coop is a big part of NSMBWii and indeed was a novel feature with Tails in Sonic 2/3/K (though more rudimentary) or Donkey Kong Country (actual platformers, not beat-em ups are rather uncommon with co-op).
However, Sonic 4 seems to be completely avoiding this going with a simple 1p game...
