Genesis Model 2 Box Variations

Interesting, I recently came across a S&K with the NFR sticker on it and assumed it was from this bundle. It's still quite probable since I've seen Sonic 3 ones like that, but I think they were cart/only when they were packed in, instead of the full box. You can even see on your inserts where the games also could have been just stuck in the cardboard instead of given a full release with box.

I've actually got a copy of Doom 32X with the same NFR sticker, which I'm guessing came with one of the the 32X bundles when they were clearanceing them.

In that archived thread with all of the Model 2 pack-in boxes, one of them was a S&K pack-in, which may have been where that cart came from. The sticker on the box even showed it cart-only.

Crazy how all of the mainline Sonic games (and Sonic Spinball) were packed-in with the console at one time.

So there are at least 2 variations on the S&K bundle and maybe 2 Lion King ones?

Japanese Model 2 VA1.8. Bought it in Malaysia, They converted it to PAL by adding osc 4.443, trace to the cxa1145 has been disconnected from the master clock.
