Mr.Matthews...AGREED 100% as to your first statement....It makes zero sense to me as to WHY some....people... are not BANNED. Seriously..Site owner? Mods? you can SEE that EVERY post outta this 'guy's' mouth is NEGATIVE and insulting, right?? ...From direct insults to homophobia to racism to plain old general spite, thats all you get with him! (My friend Adam who was recently blown-up in a HUM-V in Iraq would LOVE to see those "parody videos" of yours as well...wow..never have I seen someone your age be able to insult EVERY demographic with such ease, and I'm from NY!) Certainly not telling anyone "how to do their jobs", but d a m n.... Eh, what do I know, maybe every forum 'NEEDS' an over-opinionated, embittered, venom-spewing punkass to 'stir the pot' as it were, eh? Ehhh...I have wasted enough time with this one again...

    ANYway....

The GameCube can be a ball! Try (the obvious..) Metroid, its quite a departure but a blast IMHO. I have several decks just sitting in a stack in my closet...lol...seems like the hook-ups for a GC are NEVER to be found at GoowWill.

Oh, also, the pawn shops around here are DISCOUNTING GC games, so if there are titles you have in mind, let me know! (This goes for everyone..)

    Regards

EDIT - Bender ... Wait...for REAL? You can use a regular GBA for a controller?? Wow..never tried that! I had a little screen for mine like the one we have for the PS1, you know the ones, the clam-shell screens, anyhow it was SHIT...it looked like wax paper reception.

I'm sure that someone must make a good screen for GC...

    WHAT?

So doing a tribute to Lieutenant Dan from Forrest Gump in a video game review is racist and offensive to Iraq veterans!? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOUR HEAD!? You're the most clueless person I've ever seen on the internet, your stupidity actually impresses me. Stop crying because I made fun of you (by proxy) by calling anime stupid.

And, as I've already stated, when I called anime fans "fags" I wasn't calling them homosexuals, homosexuals wouldn't waste their time on something so utterly retarded. In fact, any homosexual I know would call you a fag for being one of those über creepy anime lurkers.

I'm helpful to plenty of people as long as they don't run around trying to discredit my credentials or otherwise attack me.

You know what, you're not even worth this, where's that ignore button?

yes, Rousimoff, hop onto Sega-16 FOR A MONTH and get to call banhammer on people you disagree with, that makes perfect sense. Stop bitching and mucking up threads. I mean, I make ONE POST AS A JOKE and you've now derailed the thread for a whole page. You're a moron, GTFO.

Can "I" drop this seniority card then? I've been here longer than you.

Yeah, a few Gamecube games worth owning are readily available on other consoles. It doesn't mean you shouldn't opt for picking them up though.

Ikaruga, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes, Tales of Symphonia, Eternal Darkness, FZero, Viewtiful Joe, Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2, Metroid Prime, Zelda Twilight Princess, Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil 4.

    Wow, jeez...

Let's get this thread back on the right track, eh???

I'm currently playing Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (in fact, Oldschool, that's the game I had to buy a new card to play). It's just like the PSX original, only awesomer-looking. Worth buying if you can find it.

Another game on my next-to-play list is Battalion Wars. Supposed to be like a 3D Advance Wars; has anyone else played this? I heard it's quite good.

Pikmin & Pikmin 2. Surprised either of these games haven't been mention yet. Love 'em.

Resident Evil. Like Twin Snakes, this is basically just a gussied-up port of the original Playstation game. However, it has new areas and a new creature (with her own new subplot). If you can look past the controls, it's worth playing again (try it with the 'Type C' control setting).

Super Mario Sunshine. Yeah, I said it. Mario. Mario rocks. And this game kinda rocks. It's a beautiful game, but not many people appreciated the tropical setting. I bulldozed through it to 100% (no easy feat) and know I'll probably never pick it up again, but I had fun doing it. Get it.

Sonic Gems Collection. Eh, it's alright. Actually, not really... Forget I mentioned it, okay?

    Mario Sunshine sucked IMO

They killed the diversity that made Mario universe tolerable with the same environments over and over again.
It's also too candy coated & tries to hold your hand all the time. (much like Galaxy on the Wii, that game is awesome, but could have been better.)

Metroid Prime is still the last 'Nintendo' game that was a genuine 'Experience' when playing it. I will never forget the first time playing through it.

Oh no, 17days is at it again.

Anywho, I will try and pick up Metroid, Super Smash Bros., maybe Windwaker, Pikmin games, maybe Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, and that GB thingy when I can. I almost completely forgot about that! I'll have to get some GB games, too.

I have never heard of "Mario Sunshine"..?? We recently got New SMB for DS, is this one similar? (When I first played the other night, I was pretty well sloshed and when I first saw the effects of the 'GIANT' mushroom, I nearly flew out of my gourd! lol)

As far as I'm concerned its the best Mario title to date, but I have only played about 20, so.... I'm going to have to get another copy for my wife, she is obsessed with it, as well as the Peach game and Picross - heh
(I also love Mario Tennis for the VB, great game!)

As to Resident Evil, isnt that the one called "Zero" or "X"? I remember buying that for my nephew years ago...the lightning and thunder effects are great. I cant decide my favorite from that series...I love them all so much, especially part 4! Unlimited Launcher!

Naves...GREAT pics!! AWWWWWW look at the babies!!!

I really don't think it sucked. Lift Mario out of it and put in some other character and it would have been a bigger hit, I'm sure. I just got tired of adding "...at the beach" to every setting. Bustling metropolis ...at the beach. Haunted mansion ...at the beach. Amusement park ...at the beach. Tropical paradise ...at the beach.

It still played very well and there were some great ideas, but the games that book-ended it were much better.

Yeah... I guess I'll second that.

Not really. NSMB is a "traditional" Mario game. Sunshine is a 3D platformer (follow-up to Mario 64).

I loved NSMB, and it's probably one of my favorite DS games. Super Princess Peach was great, too.

No, there's Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero. Resident Evil Zero is the prequel to the original RE game.

Playing Resident Evil 4 for the first time is probably one of my all-time favorite game experiences. God, I love that game so much.

Resident Evil Code Veronica for the Dreamcast was released as Code Veronica X on the PS2 & Gamecube a few years later.

I forgot about that game entirely.

True enough, it could have been passable as a Yoshi game. It was 'cute' enough for it.

Hmmm, I didn't even think about that. I was thinking Crash Bandicoot or something.

Or maybe even a Princess Peach game? That would have made a lot more sense.

Resident Evil 4 is an amazing work IMHO. I mean, I love them all, even that iffy 'Gun Survivor', but part 4 just took the formula and ran out the friggin door with it....my wife gets VERY disturbed by the appearance and the SOUND of those mask-wearing plagas psychos..lol..those creepy ones with the electric prods and Nazi attire that say growl that garbled Spanish and make those gutural noises...

Thats what the rocket launcher is for though!! (Too bad you cannot use it on the gigantic mud puppy/hellbender though, eh?)

Oh so Sunshine is like 64...gotcha...that was fun as well, havent played it much though...maybe I should

Oh man, cant forget Code Veronica! Thats my wife's favorite..lol...if not for HER, some of those puzzles wouldnt get solved! ha That friggin slide puzzle in part 4..UGHHHH....my friend does that for me! lol
