From what I understand, the 'bonus' for having SF4 is two additional costumes for each character. Or actually, they're more like graphics filters for the standard costumes, an ink filter and a sketch filter if I understand correctly.

Also, you don't really need to own SF4 to get the bonus, just a save game on your hard drive is enough. So if you want, you can sell on SF4 and replace it with SSF4 and still get the bonus costumes.

Any differences between the PS3 & 360 versions???

Also, this 'Super SF Arcade Tournament Edition stick' that's selling for $149.99 at Frys/etc right now... is it any good?

It says on the box that it comes with Sanwa buttons... I assume that it has a Hori stick taboot?... does this make it = win?

Lastly, is there ANY way to use that ^ stick on a PS2?

    thks, guys

The underlying engine hasn't changed since SF4, so the differences between PS3 and 360 are the same as before: 360 has anti-aliasing and smoother shadows, PS3 has a better d-pad.

    I agree about the lying.

They claimed they were only nerfing Zangief's health, super, ultra, jump, MP, Lariat, and EX Green Hand.

Turns out they also nerfed range, almost every single moves damage (and they specifically said they weren't going to nerf his command throws, and every single one got nerfed) and apparently enlarged his hit box so he can be hit out of the air even easier.

In return they've only given him a new Ultra...no hit boxes have been changed, and neither was either of his crouching HK footsies (so he still auto loses footsie wars)

IMHO from a balance perspective, this is completely unacceptable.

Zangief had four unwinnable match ups in vSF4
    Seth, Sagat, Akuma, and Blanka

Most of his at-one-time favorable match ups had gone to even, or even tipped in the other characters favor.
Like Boxer, Rufus, Chun Li, etc.

They're saying Zangief is now low tier.
I've had the game since last week, and I agree...

I've mained Zangief since SF2, and the last time he was this bad, was Super SF2 non turbo, or Capcom vs. SNK 2...

I guess I'm back to only playing HD Remix.

Oh btw Zangief is probably the best n00b killer in the game still, and that's apparently what Capcom wanted to change...they failed.

It's has a Sanwa stick (the same parts found in the arcade machines) as well. I have the first SF IV Arcade TE stick for the 360 and the Standard SF IV stick for the PS3. The TE feels a bit more responsive.

If you look around, you may be lucky enough to find the first SF IV Tournament stick for $99 at Fry's. I'd bought mine about 2 months ago at that price.

I don't know if Madcatz has corrected the problem with the Super Street Fighter IV stick, but my SFIV stick does not work with PS2 games on my PS3.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
