Default Games that look like Strider 2/Paper Mario/etc...

Just wondering if anyone knows a few more games that use graphical style of Paper Mario, Strider 2, Panzer Bandit, and Dolphin Blue, ie 2D character sprites mixed with 3D backgrounds/environments. I think it makes for an interesting look but there aren't too many games that use it unfortunately.

I know exactly where you're coming from. I'd say there are a number of like titles on the Sega Saturn, but I'm not very well versed in the Saturn's library.

I can, however, recommend the following titles:

    1. Odin Sphere (PS2)
    2. Muramasa: Demon Blade (Wii)
    3. Grim Grimmoire (PS2)

There were probably hundreds of 32-bit games. Here are a few for Saturn-

    Grandia
    Shining Force III Sc 1 - 3
    Shining The Holy Ark
    Dark Savior
    Shinrei Jusatsushi Taroumaru
    Bug 1 & 2
    Clockwork Knight 1 & 2
    Duke Nukem 3D
    Powerslave / Exhumed
    Robotica / Deadalus
    Space Hulk
    Wachenroder
    Sword & Sorcery
    Vandal Hearts
    Riglord Saga 1 & 2 (Mystaria/Blazing Heroes)
    Willy Wombat
    Amok
    Worldwide Soccer
    NHL All-Star Hockey
    Alien Trilogy

The 3DO also had a bunch.

Yeah I guess there are a shit ton of RPGs and FPS that use that look.

Shinrei Jusatsushi Taroumaru looks exactly like what I'm looking for. Unfortunately for me, the game is $400 bucks on Ebay, figures.
