Miracle World is awesome. I never played it until maybe 3-4 years ago. My wife grew up with it..and I Mario..So when we play either game. We need to help each other out with certain parts..

Miracle World, then Enchanted Castle and Shinobi World, then Lost Stars.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

Miracle World and Enchanted Castle are the best two. Shinobi World and Lost stars get second and third places.

Not really, and it's not an Alex Kidd game. It initially was released as Anmitsu Hime in Japan and was localized by SOA as an Alex Kidd game.
