Thread: Genesis box designs

    Default Genesis box designs

I am interested in knowing what games were released using the original Genesis box design.

    Examples:
    Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast

    Any others?

Anything that was released in 1989-92, with a few games from early '93. EA and Accolade/Ballistic games excepted.

You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.

Samurai Shodown had the red box in the U.S., so did the FF games. Granada, like all the Renovation games, didn't have the original black square design either.

Basically, it's like j_factor said: everything from '89-'92, save the 3rd party games (EA, Renovation, Accolade/Ballistic, Sage's Creation, etc) with a few games in '93.

Thank goodness they switched to the red 'system' scheme. I know I'm in the minority, but I just can't handle those '80s grids. CORNY!
