I am interested in knowing what games were released using the original Genesis box design.
Examples:
Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast
Any others?

Do you mean anything without the red label?
Pretty much, yeah.Originally Posted by Joe Redifer

You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.
- Samurai Shodown ( Samurai Spirits in Japan )
- Fatal Fury ( Garou Densetsu Shukumei no Tatakai in Japan )
- Fatal Fury 2 ( Garou Densetsu 2 Arata-naru Tatakai in Japan )
- Truxton ( Tatsujin in Japan )
- Michael Jackson´s Moonwalker
- Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse
- Granada
- Super Monaco GP
- Rambo III
B - Mark
Samurai Shodown had the red box in the U.S., so did the FF games. Granada, like all the Renovation games, didn't have the original black square design either.
Basically, it's like j_factor said: everything from '89-'92, save the 3rd party games (EA, Renovation, Accolade/Ballistic, Sage's Creation, etc) with a few games in '93.
Thank goodness they switched to the red 'system' scheme. I know I'm in the minority, but I just can't handle those '80s grids. CORNY!
