    Thumbs up Rolling Thunder 3

A lot of classic game franchises have been making comebacks lately. Bionic Commando, Rocket Knight, and Splatterhouse are just a few of the brands that are being retooled for modern audiences. After Namco is finished giving Rick and his 2''x4'' the upgrade treatment, I would love to see Rolling Thunder be next. Sadly, that hasn't been announced yet (rubs rabbit's foot and prays for an E3 miracle), so we'll have to be satisfied with the excellent trilogy of games that is already out there. The third installment, a Genesis exclusive, was the last time we saw the Agency and Geldra go at it, and it's actually a darn solid game. We have a full review of it for you, so read on, and hope that Namco hears our pleas for another sequel!

I haven't played this one, but 1 and 2 in the arcades was, and still is, very awesome.

I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

For the record, I totally dig how we're using the comments/scores/mini-reviews section in the main - they provide the reader a much richer impression of the game in question.

    Well done, guys.

    Cheers!

This is one of my top 5 Genesis games. The gameplay is great, it's like a tactical Contra. I'd reccommend it to anyone. It's a wonder that Japan never got this one.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

Rolling Thunder is a classic, and the third game is probably one of my favorite Genesis games. The second one though is eh.

We know what it means to be cool.

Blasphemy, the Genesis version of Rolling Thunder 2 is a masterpiece!

    Anyway...

    This soundtrack is criminally underrated.
