Why is this thread still alive? The woman has an uncomfortable body. Nothing to talk about.
Bullshit is rock music not-manufactured, maybe 50 years ago when the Music industry was in its infancy. Actually scratch that Black Rhythm and Blues musicians where already packaged and exploited by the industry in the 1950's and 1960's, Elvis didn't even write most of his songs. That does'nt stop the fact I think Suspicious Minds isn't a beautiful song, and that was right when he was in his fat Las Vegas period. I think we all need to get over the fact great music actually sometimes does have a little bit of posture and careful PR manipulation on there labels part to get them out.
Certain trends are all orchestrated and picked up by the media, putting disparate groups in together to create the illusion of some sort of cultural movement. Indie music is full of that bullshit, I see this stuff manipulated all the time in the English music press with shit-rags like the NME hype the latest Musical Trends that are pre-manufactured by industry exec's.
You guys are gonna tell me that I should go listen to Metal Music and that its untainted. Its just another industry to sell to young adults a lifestyle to. I have no illusions about the music industry.

It's been a while and thought what the hell il post to my most controversial thread... How is everyone?
this thread is so cringeworthy holy shit
It's better than the neighboring thread.
Personally I think the bitch is hideous, she dresses like a bad prostitute and her 'music' is the absolute lowest common denominator trash you could imagine.
The fact that she's a role model for girls is frightening.
Yeah, I don't like those scumbags either.
I like to think that if I ever raised a daughter (heaven forbid), she would have enough sense instilled in her to realise the message conveyed by these freaks is far from positive.
I seem to remember back a few years ago a mate brought to my attention an episode of the Ellen DeGeneres show with people clapping and cheering as a pre-pubescent girl did a cover of one of Minaj's songs, couldn't believe my eyes. The audience just thought it was cute, the fact that the lyrics and dance moves push a pro-slut message to youngsters seemed inconsequential to them.
Of course, this level of crass doesn't just become acceptable to the wider community overnight, the wheels of desensitization where put in motion years before with stuff like Madonna IMO (in terms of pop music).
