Reading through too many pages of this thread inspired me to dig out Shadow Dancer. I still have the original cart I bought when it came out, and yes, it's still awesome.

I'm going to rate Shadow Dancer as better than Shinobi 3. In my honest opinion that arcade feel of it is what makes it the winner overall since I love mostly all games with that feel. Also the dog in game earns it plus more points.

Haha I get that all the time but I don't know, I really like Shinobi 3 BUT there is something about Shadow Dancer that gives it a charm as well as the memories from when I was kid, so I give it the edge in the race between it and Shinobi 3.

Jackal is correct. And Mr Smith is, too. Shadow Dancer is lame, short, its bellybutton sticks out, and it's a terrible embarrassment to the rest of its 16-bit Shinobi brethren.

Shinobi 3 is light years better than Shadow Dancer. I can't get into Shadow Dancer..but put Shinobi 3 in front of me and I cant stop playing it.
