I remember seeing ads long, long ago before the Xbox 360 was released about Alan Wake. It was being advertised as an upcoming 360 game at that time. In fact, it was the first 360 game I had ever heard about.

A lot of good titles these days are taking a back seat to all of these well established, yet painfully overrated series like Call of Duty and various other war shooters, GTA, Gears of War, Halo, etc... So no, there really isn't much of a market for anything with a hint of substance or a slightly unique premise anymore.
Most of the games everyone claimed to "hate" this generation, I enjoyed much more than many of the so-called "AAA" titles. Because despite having flaws here and there, at least they were something different.
I actually went through Twin Peaks recently, and that show turned to utter crap during around halfway in the second season. The theme being repeated every scene didn't help matters either, it grated right after the pilot.
Anyway, thinking of getting The Writer DLC. Anyone bothered with it, or should I just catch it on Youtbe?
