I used to collect Knights, Pirates, and Space.
There's a dedicated thread on Space here: http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8236

The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.
- Hayao Nakayama, Mega Drive Collected Works (p. 17)
I never build the designs, i always designed my own stuff, which was much more fun i.m.o.
I'm just going to leave this here.
Edit: just for clarification, I didn't make this. I was never any good with legos![]()

Too bad it's the Sonic 3 sprite.![]()
I'll post some pics of my collection when I get home. I have quite a bit of Lego. It's the other thing that I collect besides old video games.

Lego Sonic success^
Lego Sonic failures:
Hyper Metal Sonic
(though I probably shouldn't be mean, since the creator of that appears to be around 6 years old... :/)
I miss Lego.
Also, I always wanted to go to Legoland, but didn't - now I'm too old, and wouldn't be allowed on the rides and stuff even if I did go. Waaaah.
I like the new Lego products, like the 20cm Lego Fig Dynamo Torch, and the Lego Brick Clock Radio, and the 3MP Lego Digital Camera. I don't have any of these, just the mini torch keyring thing. But someday... someday I will own a proper fullsize Lego house, full of Lego furniture and Lego gadgetry. With Lego slaves to do my Lego bidding, and perform Lego nefarious deeds and Lego-smite my enemies. Lego is fun!
I do wish there weren't so many Lego video games though.
I had legos but never truly played with it.
It was K'nects that I DID play with, and actually made a fully functional mono 33rpm record player with.. I surprised MANY people, as one of their motor sets for K'nect ran at 33rpm, and I laid it horizontally, made a platter, tone arm with counter weight, and used a stylus attached to a condensor microphone plugged into an aplifier.
It worked. Had SO much noise in the audio but it was functioning, and I remember the first record I played on it, Jimmy Hendrix.
Customized Sega Genesis Model 1 - VA3. Energy efficient with buck converters instead of LM7805's.
Charitable donations are welcome.
True - Lego Star Wars was a lot of fun for this reason. (I bought the ps2 game after playing it in a shopBut yeah, most of the lego video games aren't too entertaining. They are all kinda the same thing, but with different themes. They make for good party games though. Any game where you can kill your partner is a a good party game in my book.) The second one was less fun though, since the novelty wore off, imo - and now... I think they should stop several games ago.
Sorry for the semi-big pics.
I have more, but it's not built at the moment. I still have every Lego set that I ever bought or was given as a kid.
