It sucked, specially in comparison with previous ones. ¿Entertaining? yes; sure, but less quality than previous ones.

They can't make a Cars 2 because Steve McQueen is dead and rotting. He is far too decomposed to do any voices now. I have no clue which character he voiced, though. I barely remember anything from the movie other than my dislike for it.
I think you are confusing Steve McQueen with Paul Newman. Paul Newman died recently and was the voice of the Hudson Hornet. Steve McQueen has been dead for like 30 years.
I loved Toy Story 3. I saw it in 2D and after was glad because I thought it was a really powerful film that didn't need gimmicks. Toy Story 2 was a little disappointing to me, although most people loved it. I felt Toy Story 3 was a very well crafted film, with excellent pacing and the perfect ending.
I cried. The girl I was with was absolutely balling. Most of the theatre was in tears actually. The themes of Toy Story 3 were very relevant to me and while I can imagine that a lot of the younger kids thought the movie was very scary at some parts, there were equally scary bits in the first two and other movies like Brave Little Toaster.
The deus ex machina in that scene did was pretty far fetched. As they were falling I wondered how they would get out of it. But, that is probably my only concern with the story. We could have lost the whole junkyard scene, but it was one of the most powerful in the film, so I can't complain.
Overall it was great, and I don't see why so many people are hating on it. It was the best Pixar film I have seen in ages and they really kept up their end of the bargain.
S A V E R U S T Y
I cried at the end...
I hadn't actually thought about it before, but it's surprising how similar the story/themes of Toy Story 3 are to BLT.
Did anyone watch The Pixar Story? Lasseter originally wanted to make Brave Little Toaster in CG and was dismissed from Disney because his thinking was too progressive.
I agree with you on the Incredibles 2 sequel. That is my all time favourite Pixar movie. I liked all of them with the 2 weakest being Ratatouille and Bug's Life.
I would guess the phenomenal licensing of the Cars merchandise (it's still going strong like 4 years after release!) is the main impetus for the Cars sequel happening before the others. It is an extremely lucrative cash cow. Even my girls are gaga over Lightning and Mater.
The cow/tractors still make me laugh out loud.
A cars sequel is probally because of merchandise theres also a cars tv series as well.
Incredibles 2 in a way does exist but not in Movie form. They is a Video game called The Incredibles Rise of the Underminer that could be classed as a sequel to the movie.
Not the only Disney movie to do this either The Nightmare Before Christmas GBA (Good metroid like game as well) is a Prequel to the Movie yet the Nightmare Before Christmas ps2 game by Capcom is a sequel to the movie.
At the incinerator part did anyone else say one of they toy's name out loud and gasp in fear that this would be the end of them?
Yes, though I think I'm the only one that yelled out "Mrs. Potato Head" in the theatre.
I loved it...
There Can Only Be One
He Will Rise Again (Once I've Located The Original Signatures)
I had something in my eye towards the end. My God, that scene was grim.
Cyber-Razor cut sir? - To be this good takes AGES - Raúl be with you.
Let's just say I hate Tim Allen's voice, used in Toy Story 2 & 3 afaik. I didn't see the 2nd one and I'm not gonna see this one.
Even in the 1st one I found a lot of the characters to just be bland and boring characters. Just a bunch of generic toys. lol They could have made much cooler toys as characters, but they made the most generic possible toys. The cowboy, space explorer, the spring dog... Ehhh.
Imagine how cool a toy movie would have been with awesome characters, like from the He-Man universe, or the old-school Transformers! (including the awesome Dino-bots)
How abut a movie based on those action figures that had cool spooky holograms for their faces / torso, but on the plastic bodies of action figures. Can't remember the name but those were some awesome action figures.

I saw it tonight in 3D, i thought it was great much better than the 2nd one even though i liked that one too, Ken was epic.
So, your problem with the original Toy Story movie (seeing as how you haven't seen 2 or 3) was which toys they used? What did you think of the story? When did you see it?
I thought 1 was great and 2 was even better. I enjoyed 3 immensely and would put it on par with 1. I saw all three on release in the theatre and maybe that is skewing my opinion but the vast majority of people like these movies.
