Genesis/Mega Drive Only Console You Own?

For me this is it. Not even a 32x/sega cd/nomad. Just the Genesis for me. In the past I've had an atari 2600, SMS, game gear, Dreamcast, Game boy, game boy colour. Sold them off or gave them away over the years(in some cases to buy more genesis games). I wonder how many are like me.

I have a variety of other systems besides the Genesis. My collection ranges from pre-crash stuff like the 2600 and Colecovision to the PS2 and DS. I've been downsizing my collection though, I just sold my Lynx and NGPC and now I'm currently selling my TI-99.

I have in the past sold (and had stolen) all my SEGA consoles bar the MD, but over the past 16 months i bought them all again...

The older they get the harder it is to track down good condition SEGA consoles, well certain ones anyway. My fave is the MD (JP)

So I guess you could say I married the genesis
I know its kind of crazy. Some genres didn't evolve much in the genesis era.
Whenever I crave some Doom(FPS) action I play Zero Tolerance.
Whenever I crave some Warcraft(RTS) action, I play Dune 2 Battle for Arrakus.
Whenever I crave some Worms Armageddon action, I play worms.
For RPG's, I love Phanasty Star 4(not a big rpg fan but love this game).

Beat'em ups, platformers, side scrollers, run n guns, hack n slash, shumps haven't evolved or gotten better really at least in 2D which is what I care for.

The only part that hurts is all of the Capcom and SNK 2D fighters on the Dreamcast. I just adapted and made myself happy with the genesis fighters.

I do enjoy going after games I've never played and welcome pirates as its new games for my only system.

Let it also be said that I don't like 3D games which is likely a big factor for my choice.

I commend you, though. But I just can't hinder myself to just one system (albeit it my favorite one). There are just too many games not available on my Genny that I want to play as well. I do give priority to my Genesis collection, though...if that counts.

P.S.> Kudos on refining the art of "poll-making" . Yours has to be the best selection I've seen in a while.

The Mega Drive isn't the only console I own, I have several others of different brands, but since a few years it is the only one I play. Except if you count 32X and Mega-CD, since some people tend to call them "consoles" on their own, of course.

I only have a PAL model 1, pre-TmSS version. Obviously I also have a PC and games
for it... I'd also really like to get the PS3 someday. When all look back at it and say,
"man, those were the days" : D
But atm I'm pretty OK with playing PC and Mega Drive only.
