    Default Sega 16... SNES16?

Is there any site close to this for the SNES? as far as reviews and all the knowledge?

I like the SNES to and I figure there has to be a few hidden gems or import only titles I don't even know about. Considering all the info I have learned about the Genesis I am interested in doing the same with the SNES because the 16Bit era is my favorite by far.

I wish. I have seen forums with SNES sections, but no real Sega-16 equivalent. Just talk about SNES games in the Insert Coin section here, that's what I did

I haven't found anything with a good collective forum or even updated quite as regular as sega-16 but there are some decent sites for atleast old info.

www.nintendolife.com (lots of nintendo info here and some good reviews and forum isn't too bad, lil on the bashy side of sega though )

http://www.videogameden.com/ (lots of reviews on imports!)

http://www.rvgfanatic.com/ (some good reviews of SNES/SFC games)

    http://www.gamersgraveyard.com/repository/ (old info but cool)

A few SFC games you should check out:
    Ghost Sweeper Mikami
Super Back to the Future 2
Majyuu ou (spelling is off I think)
    GO GO Ackman 1,2,3
    Umihara Kawase
    Undercover Cops
    Ushio to Tora
    Ghost Chaser Densei
    Taromaru
    Rendering Ranger: R2
    Pocky + Rocky
GŌSŌ JINRAI DENSETSU MUSYA (Musya: The Classic Japanese Tale of Horror)

mostly shooter/platformers, I'm not a RPG gamer so can't help you out there.

Also a FC game peeps should try out:
U-Four-ia: The Saga (Europe release) sweet lil game that mashes Metroid and SMB2 into one. It's from Hebereke Japanese series

super-nes.com is a pretty good site with snes reviews but I don't think Corbie Dillard has done anything with this site for awhile. He mainly contributes to nintendolife.com these days.

I think Nintendoage might apply to some extent, but it doesn't seem as expansive as Sega-16. Then again, I haven't really delved into that site, it looks fairly good on the surface though.

I know that this isn't as extensive, but http://www.videogamecritic.net/ has some good short reviews on just about every system. I just checked the snes section, and they have a lot of reviews. I think it would be a good place to get quick info on a lot of different games.

The reason there is no SNES-16 is because the SNES lost the long-term 16-bit war, with it's fans jumping ship to the N64, Gaycube, etc.

There is no SNES site like this because SNES fans are usually Nintendo fanboys who only own Nintendo consoles, so therefor they reside at Nintendo sites covering all the Nintendo consoles. Mega Drive fans, however, aren't usually Sega fanboys and therefor enjoy other brands and their consoles such as the NES, PlayStation series and RRoD, which is one explanation to the existence of this site and forum.

Genesis owners are more passionate about their beloved system.....to put it bluntly.......genesis is like your first love who you will always remember fondly.....snes was more of a hit it and quit it type girl.....sure, she gave you some knockout times, but she'll never compare......

Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be more SNES fans than Genesis fans. Though a lot of the SNES fans weren't really part of the 16bit generation. Just later adopted fans. But that said, I'm surprised there isn't a SNES-16 site. I mean, with tons of reviews, interviews and such. As far as forums, there are enough to satisfy SNES fans, I guess. DP forums seems to have quite a bit of SNES fans. And RHDN, although a hacking/translation site are like 90% SNES fans/biased.

NintendoAge is your best bet. Everything from NES to Wii is covered.
