Don't waste your time, he's going to lowball you.

He offered me $50 for my lot of ~70 games.

He said he "liked the lot", then asked me how low I would go on the price. I was originally asking $80 + shipping, so I told him I'd go as low as $75 shipped.

He then told me he would only do $50. If he didn't want some of the games in there, he could have asked if I would split the lot instead of trying to lowball me.

no offense meant. I just got a lot of 100 for $70 bucks (not including shipping). I was assured that was about the going rate. If you have a price guide, please point it out to me. happy to do business with all. i am just getting started with my sega collection so lots of commons games would be great. I am very active on nintendoage and i assure you lowballl isn't my middle name.

Without a lot of sega experience, not sure what games i should start with. Happy to welcome any and all suggestions as i start getting into this.

100 games for $70 shipped is ridiculously uncommon, unless it's 100 sports games. Most decent games are going to run you anywhere from $2 to $15, depending on the game and what it comes with... that is, of course, excluding the expensive titles.

Sure, my lot has it's share of sports games, but it has a lot of other stuff too, like:

D&D: Warriors of the Eternal Sun
    Phantasy Star IV
All the Sonics save Sonic 1
    Rocket Knight Adventures
    Thunder Force II
    Valis III

Plus, some other platformers and fighters.

Also, Mutant League Football and Zany Golf are somewhat rare.

No, I know that. Don't worry.

I was just explaining it more for the op that my lot really is worth the money I'm asking.

Is it really? Then why hasn't it sold in a week.

People who buy in lots expect a discount, they are doing the seller a favor by taking all of their junk at once. Sure a lot may have quite a bit in part out value, but if you want all of that value then spend the time parting it out yourself.

Your lot does have some pretty good titles in it, but most people don't want all of the junk carts that come along with it.

Probably because the person that will end up buying the lot hasn't seen the post yet.

    Just a guess.
