Uhh, they're, like, the only company that makes 3D fighters now. VF has almost no fanbase now (very small compared to Namco's fighters), and MK sucks so much ass that they're going back to 2D. Who makes better 3D fighters?

VF has no fanbase because the game's aesthetics are bad, and the learning curve is too steep.VF has always been better than Tekken or any other 3D fighting game, it's just the public can't/doesn't want to keep up.The same thing happened to Street Fighter i.e Street Fighter 3.

Arguable. All a matter of opinion, and I know a shitton of people that enjoy Tekken more than VF, based on fun factor mostly, but also on a competitive level. Actually, you're the first person I've met that likes VF more than Tekken. Now granted, I don't want to flat out say that Tekken is a better game (I don't want to let loose my inner fanboy), but saying that Namco can't make 3D fighters is grossly untrue.

virtua fighter has better 3d gameplay in my opinion, but tekken 2 was outrageously awesome!

This man speaks the truth. Not only that, Tekken 2's graphics were a step down over the original. Tekken 3, as The Video Game Critic said, is "a combination of Tekken's rich graphics with Tekken 2's deep gameplay"

Tekken 5 and Tekken: Dark Resurrection are also great games as well

Who said that, lol? The first two Tekkens had shit graphics AND gameplay as I recall. It wasn't until Tekken 3 that it actually got good.

Man I played so much Tekken 3 back in the day.

Then Tekken Tag Tournament came out and really ramped things up.

I don't think I've played a 3d fighter since.

Soul Calibur 2 was the last 3D fighter that hooked me.

I started to get into Virtua Fighter 5, but gave up playing all games for the most part.

Going to get a TE Fightstick & SSF4 one of these days.
