ive never seen one like it, or anything similar either?!

it actually works pretty well...the "ergonomic design" *ahem* kinda works ok!

anyone know which manufacturer this was from?

I've never seen it before, but it looks perfect for games like Landstalker and Light Crusader .

You should do some research on that! Where did you stumble across it?

    Interesting controller.

I'm a huge fan of the SG-Programpad. Whats funny is that its really hard to find now. I had no problem buying the SN-Programpad for my SNES, but it took a 4 month hunt to track down the SG-Programpad (got it through a chance encounter with someone who owned one on gamegavel.com, eBay hardly ever has them either!)

its actually pretty cool!! as i said....the "ergonomic" style (sloped handles and d-pad) actually works nicely.....i cant imagine using it for anything other than single or 2 button games if im honest....but yeh, its not at all bad!

Ditto. I occassionally scout for them, and buy one every chance I get. I have 3 or 4 now, so I should be good for a while, although I think one has worn out contacts. Have you ever taken one apart?

It's a Cheetah Ballistix (something like that anyway). I had one for my Master System back in the day.

Oh man, are those Genesis Programpads worth anything, or are they just scarce? My buddy is looking to sell off a ton of his game related stuff and he just so happens to have one of those.

If anyone here is interested, I could try to get dibs on it for you.

True, it's not bad from what I remember. IIRC the D-pad is a bit stiff but it feels pretty natural being angled like that.

I've never taken them apart. Mine are still working fine though.

Have no clue why they are so scarce. I paid 15 for mine, prolly a bit steep but worth it, especially since it took so long to find.
