Default Long shot but...I'm looking to buy version 1.00 of "Revenge of Shinobi"

Looking to buy Version 1 of Revenge of Shinobi, the one with spiderman, batman and godzilla. Doesn't need to be complete, cart only is fine. PM me if you would like to sell--Thanks!

I finally found myself a copy not too long ago. I keep searching for spares, if I do find one I'll let you know. Good luck on your search!

Thanks! I think I may go the route of--buy as many cheap copies of the game as I can until I find one. Hopefully I'll get lucky at some point. You are in Webster,NY? I have a friend there, live in Rochester myself.

That's basically how it goes. Just keep a look-out for cheap loose carts and after a while you should strike gold. I focused mostly on Japanese 'The Super Shinobi' carts (it's the same game, just in a different shaped cartridge), because there seems to be a higher ratio of versions 1.00 among Japanese carts. After a few tries, I got a 1.00 cart on eBay for just 1 pound.

Yeah, I just moved out here after I graduated from college, it's pretty nice. That's what I did, I picked up a bunch of cart only copies until I found one. Luckily it only took me 6. Every time I see a cheap one I give it a shot. It's my version of gambling lol

This is an older game, so no region code stuff to deal with right? All I need is a game genie?

Yup, Revenge of Shinobi is the same all around the world and has no region locks. In fact, you don't even strictly need a Game Genie, just a pass-through cartridge of some sort. Or you can cut the cartridge port of your console a little wider so that Japanese cartridges fit through, and then you can just plug in the game directly.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll be on the look out on ebay for cheap copies of this game as well if the next one doesn't work out. Just bought another copy of the game---as Sparksterz says, doing a bit of gambling!
