That "family friendly" policy just kills me. You have all these games that had to be edited, they had to have various stuff removed to "meet their standards". But since they got killed in sales of MK, MK2 was allowed as is as an exception. Hypocrites.

Safari Hunt and Rescue Mission aren't awful. The Marksman and Trap Shooting one was okay, but nothing world shattering. That's the issue I have with most of the games on SMS. They're all just "okay".

Marksman Shooting and Trap Shooting is one of my favorite light gun games. That game gives a ton of target practice of various sizes and distance into the screen, requiring a lot of precision. Playing this game made firing real guns easy once I had the opportunity.

Yoshi safari is a good one and I always felt Nintendo n Sega made bazooka style guns to get away from the "realistic" look. Can't really mistake the 16 bit light guns as real, except justifier...

The Super Scope is actually really fun. There's a great game called Battle Clash for the SNES that's out of this world fun.

Thankfully Lieberman was satisfied with the ESRB and regardless of his stupid opinions an independent ratings system was a fair thing to ask for. Things could've gone a lot worse, like the bullshit that was the Comics Code Authority.
