I hated this show by the end of it, but I really like the intro.

Then I suggest you give Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water a try. It's pretty much the predecessor to Evangelion in every way. It may not seem that way at first, but you'll start seeing a LOT of similarities. Not surprising, since Evangelion was made by a lot of the same crew.

    Favorite OP? No question.

    Favorite ED:

Like nothing else in the series, it's so... moody.

Enough for a singe post haha. I love this topic already! Also, why limit yourself to Japanese when there are excellent Arabic/Italian/French renditions of the themes? (or even entirely new compositions!)

Remember when Cartoon Network used to show anime? That's what introduced me to it. Then around 2006 they got rid of it all and turned really gay. It's a shame.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

Oh yea, how could I have forgot Inuyasha, ending 2(theres literally like a dozen different opening, and endings for the series, but this is easily my favorite ending.

Note: These ending video clips seem to run a tad slower then I recall them being .

    Inuyasha ending 2 -english(English translatiion: Deep Forest/Do as infinity) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-ityKPP_Lk

Evidently a unmodified version of the Japanese Ending 2 for Inyuasha is not allowed on Youtube.

Accurate version of the Japanese song Fukai Mori
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DtuJE0_30g

The actual Japanese ending 2, with a modified version of the song attached:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XKtgpAF5FQ

As a whole, all the Inuyasha opening, and endings are very good(both in music, and in video), but I love that theme song so much, easily has to be the most iconic song in a anime, and the midi for this song is the most flawless high quality midi in existance(and is atleast one of the most traded midis on the internet). However sadly Youtube doesn't seem to have a copy of it, and I don't know of a free site to just upload music, so I can't post it, sorry.

Well anyway, yea aside from Record of Lodoss War, Inuyasha rules.

PS. While I don't like the actual anime(way too quarky for my tastes) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJLxfw4RF-g

Note: there are two versions of the opening vide(with this song), for some reason I can't find the other version on Youtube, but if you have the record of Lodoss war, you can view it in the extras(but still, this ones not bad in any case).

Ya'll a buncha honkies for not showing love to two of the most fucked up anime's.

This doesn't really show shit as far as the show, but still.

    The US dub is insane

It's a trailer, but it does have the theme. And a better glimpse of the insanity in this.

I don't like a ton of anime, but these shows are forever jawusum.

Lol that's a bad choice of a word, when posting such an opening/trailer, like the second one.

The american public wasn't quite ready for real anime yet. I liked it better that way. Once it became mainstream all the wapanese showed up and ruined it. I'm really a casual fan. I only watch when I come across something that really catches my eye. I usually only stick with mecha stuff from the 80s and early to mid 90s. I do try to keep up with the new Macross.
